James Morris, MD

My staff and I work hard to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes for our patients and provide convenient, patient-centered service. As Chief of the Surgery Department, I like to hear from patients and welcome your comments.

I perform a wide range of operations, from repairing hernias to performing major chest surgery to remove lung cancer.

Since January 2001, I’ve been a General & Thoracic Surgeon at Kaiser Permanente, South San Francisco.

I find one of the many benefits of living in the San Francisco Bay Area is the opportunity to meet so many interesting people from all around the world, particularly the Pacific Rim. I thoroughly enjoy the daily personal interactions with my patients and getting to know their families. I’m originally from Brisbane, Australia, and I often find we share many commonalities and shared experiences.
