During my 10 years of training at UC Davis, I had an opportunity to go to every hospital in Sacramento, including the two Kaiser Permanente facilities. I realized the Kaiser Permanente surgeons were the best. I have been able to build a wonderful practice in an exceptional and high-quality department and medical center. I’ve had the opportunity to help countless patients in difficult situations, many of whom have faced very difficult heath situations. I made a great choice to practice surgery here.

I’ve been at Kaiser Permanente Vallejo since 1988.

My first Kaiser Permanente experience came from the Summer Youth Program at Kaiser Permanente Harbor City in Southern California. At age 18, I worked in the hospital laboratory where I had the opportunity to tour each department, including surgery. Thanks to this formative experience, I realized choosing a career in surgery would put me in a position to help people.
